What are Holidays From Home?
I produce Holidays From Home for people who currently can't go away on holiday. I create experiences which allow you to have a holiday; but from the comfort of home. It includes all the things you would expect to do if you were physically going away - like sightseeing, experiencing the country and culture, trying the food; but without you ever going anywhere. You get all the fun of a holiday.
It's an interactive experience, that is part story, travel book and guided visualisation. There are lots of things to do like recipes to cook, crafts to make, virtual tours and web cameras to visit. There's even suggested books, films and music that help to visualise the place you are visiting and bring the country into your everyday life.
There is nothing else out there like the holidays from home, which is the very reason I created them. In essence a Holiday From Home is an experience which can take you away from the boredom of daily life to discover something new and exciting.
